1966 Ford Mustang Pony Coupe - Restored with Engine Modifications

History
Purchased in Weatherford by the Sturgeons from original buyer in the 70's and brought to the Lake Highlands area of Dallas. Driven by 3 sons, to-and-from High School and College, Texas A&M. Sold to a lady in 2004 in Dallas that was going to fix it up. She moved to Denton Tx. and decided to sell the car. That's where me and my son, February 06 purchased it and brought it back to the Lake Highlands area of Dallas. That's where my son and I restored the Pony.
Body '66 Pony Coupe
First, we rebuilt the standard braking system. Replaced the shocks, Air Shocks in the rear.
Then we stripped it down, (not body off) and sent to Crump Brothers Paint & Body. The paint was taken down completely to metal, and all small dents removed. Sprayed with polyetalene (Primer), cured, sanded, sprayed again, cured, sanded and then painted. This car was originally Night Mist Blue. We wanted it painted a little more towards the blue side with a pearl finish. It's a Deep Dark Blue with a Pearl finish.
The car came back. All crome replaced. Interior painted to its original colors. (Dash-bone white. Doors-aqua blue) New Pony interior, new headliner, new carpeting, new steering wheel ect.
