My 1969 VW convertible is named Lucy after my husband.
We bought the ‘vert in 2003 and took it up to Earl Mann’s Bug Shop in Ardmore, OK to be restored which
only took two months.
Since then, Lucy has won many awards at various all-car shows and VW shows including many Best of Shows.
One of the most exciting awards was when she took first place in her class at the huge VW Classic in CA.
After the CA Classic, she was photographed for a spread in Hot VW’s.
