Back around 2005, when I was looking for a new car, my friend Rudy suggested that I look around locally. I searched on Craig's list and found this 1932 Ford Roadster and soon found myself on Feb 28 freezing in this guy's garage in 28 degrees, completely amazed at how much better the car looked than in the photos he posted.
I googled for information on the car and discovered the body is from Lonestar Performance and that it was featured in KitCar Magazine in the issue for March of 2002. I contacted them, and they were very nice and looked around for an old copy. They got lucky and found one and sent it to me.
This car was built and painted in Justin, TX. Previously purchased by J. Howell, who was a professional drag racer. He built the blown 350 Chevy that is in it, and I have been working on it continuously as it evolves further into my dream car. I've updated the wheels, a whole new interior, added the Bop Top, as well as many other and ongoing improvements. Dyno test results on the motor were approximately 500hp.
Around July 2006, a buddy of mine named Rudy, or affectionally called Señor Rudeness, tragically passed away. We dedicated the car to him and it became known as The Rudester. He was a perfectionist and everything on the car has to perfect all of time.
It's not a trailer queen or sitting in a garage, my son and I drive it all of the time and really enjoy the car.
